wow just got in from test driving an audi A3 ( wow thats nothing i hear u thinking just ur basic small/mid size car ).


but this was a car with muscle it was a 3.2 quattro grt from the off it flew, the handling from the quattro is mucho better that i ever dreamed of better even than the subaru. the response was very quick the engine totally diff sound to my 3.2 v6 i would hate to say but it would leave me for dead if i was to put my car against this. i left the car with a nice smile on my face, if i had the cash i think i would get this but the price is way outta my league £23,500.

Gotta agree they are indeed a wolf in sheeps clothing very very nice but they do cost !!!!!!

2 Months ago I bought a 2.0 Turbo FSi A3 S-Line Special Edition, absolutley love it, I wanted to buy the 3.2 but Sam would not go for it, average 18-20mpg, group 18 insurance and £25500 for the spec we actually wanted, so we went for the 2.0T.

Ours has done just over 1000 miles now and Sam is averaging 34mpg but it was £3000 less than the equivelent 3.2 which is only 0.5 seconds quicker to 60.

The other main thing was that a simple re-map of the 2.0T would make it destroy the 3.2.

But your right buddy, the 3.2 does sound awesome. It is a weird V6 though, it only has one cylinder head that covers both banks!!!

i was reading on the audi website that they are bringing out a rs3 that looks the nutts!! sadly way out of my league as well but cracking cars

From what I have learned on the Audi scene, the RS3 is not anywhere near confirmed.

But the new S3 is, 261bhp 2.0T and near on 300lb/ft, if they do this is 5dr Sportback then I'll have one.
