no slid a 6" steel rule along under the stainless strip, and very carefully removed it, there is a rubber strip behind the irmscher writing, that is stuck on the grill so just painted that then glued the strip back on. easy mod just time consuming waiting for glue/paint etc to dry

Is it really that easy to remove? i tried using a syringe to paint inside mine, but on practice attempts away from the grill it was a bit messy....

might sound daft but seen it used for similar things.
a soft coloured crayon would alot work, filling in the writing and then just wipe away the residue. the wax of the crayon once embedded is quite resilient.

yeah got the small steel rule started under the irmscher bit, then slid it along, i glued it back on with evo stick serious glue ok so far. just got to be careful you dont take chunks out of the plastic the steel rules can be quite sharp, but a credit card or something similar would of done it. the lines in the grill keep going up under the strip. thats what its glued on to except the irmscher bit, it misses one of the lines out so easier to get started here.

very effective that. I'm looking to do a few bits on mine yellow. Maybe get a red irmscher decal to match that writing and put it on the chrome strip?
