Default new to Vectra's + new to DAS 6 Pro = good result!

    Howdy,

just bought the Mrs an 08 Vectra in black that has been seriously abused by the previous owners local car wash, I got it for a very good price but the paint looked like this all over....

After a lot of washing, claying, cutting, polishing and sealing the whole car now looks like this...

Well worth the effort and the car now looks almost showroom (bar a few small scratches that were too deep to remove)

Anyone thinking about the DAS-6 or DAS-6 pro - go for it

    Thanks for the comments,

Merzerna 203s to cut (sonus Pad)

Merzerna final finish to polish (sonus Pad)

Jeff's Werkstat Acrylic Prime (by hand)

Jeff's Werkstat Acrylic Jet Trigger - although I ran out, so the bonnet is done with acrylic prime only.

The Werkstat stuff is fantastic, been using it for ages (hence running out of AJT) - so easy to use, I'd definitely recommend it.

you could try poorboys black hole as a glaze maybee, with the sfx-4 pad,, cracking results and very easy to wipe off.

i also find that colly 476 looks amazing on black paint, plus it will last the winter

welcome to the world of machine polishing bud
