was wondering if anyone has any ideas for dicoloured chrome strips under windows,the strip under my quarter window at back is a mess dont want to use any cleaning product that may scratch it or is it water under the trim

There are a lot of very knowledgeable/friendly folk on here and have helped sort out a quite a few of the niggles on my car already.

I'm sure some will be able to offer up some solutions to this

Only real fix for the discoloured strips it new replacements.

They are plastic chrome covered with clear plastic, so the second you try to do anything they will fall to bits.

I would compare prices with new parts first though. Not the first time I have found the main dealer cheaper for new parts than ebays used parts!!

Welcome to vec-c m8 , as other,s have said all yoou can do is replace with new or if you have any scrappies near keep a look out for early model vec,s 02-03 dont appear to have a problem its just the later models.
