    Default why is it hard to change gear??

    hi all first of all everything happening today not good any way on way home today was overtakeing a car went from 2nd to 3rd and 3rd grinded never done that before fort must be me but it doin it no every time chance in to 3rd the only way to stop it was to change wait a sec then select 3rd fine but ehy is it doin this (had new flywheel master and slave etc in may it happened then once but never thats it) any help lads would be helpful at this rate ill be doin this very soon

    mine started doin that it was the 3rd gear syncro eventually u will loose third gear.

    i had to replace the gearbox.

    can i start digging my grave now then was it hard to find 1st when you started off or just 3rd cant be doin with new gear box that will just wipe me out really

    Oh god... I'm not crunching gears yet but I know for a fact my synchro's are going.

    A replacement gearbox in Aus will essentially make it a write off for how much its going to cost me

    it only crunches if i race from 2nd to 3rd gear no other gears do it maybe a bit hard to find 1st when i start off thats it but if it a gear box im goin to just die dont need this now really dont but thanx

    you have to press that pedal on the left next to the brake... It usually stops the crunching

    That's the classic symptoms of a known fault with the F40 6-speeder. It had too much oil put in it at the factory - 3.2 litres. Taking it out and putting in 2.4 litres will cure it. Follow this How2, and also add in some Molyslip gearbox protector grease and it'll drive like new:

    but it had a new clutch in may and the gear box oil was changed then do you think i should chance it well whats worse that can happen lol thanx agen

    I'm running an F35 5 speed.

    Anyone know if theres a known fault? Or is it just wear and tear?
