    Default accident ....

hi , my car was ran into while parked and had rear quarter damage, i got my car back about a week ago and now after looking at it again im not happy with it , they have pulled it and filled it and it looks quite wavy when you look along the body , when i look inside the passenger cuby hole their is loads of little dots , i had to take the car to their repairer despite them asking me to get quotes, my question is , do i need to accept that they have repaired it or what should i do , first time accident for me..thanks

'their repairer' - who are they? Your insurance company, the insurance company of the person who hit you or the person themself? The dots will be burn marks from spot welding (to allow them to pull the dent out).

when i was involved in the accident i contacted my insurer to inform them , they dealt with my claim and said they would claim costs from other party so repairer would have been through my insurance...

If you are not happy complain. The very first time I had a car repaired by my insurance it looked great but water kept leaking in at the rear light cluster. I complained and eventually they sent it to a different body shop who got it right.

NO! you do not have to accept the repair if it is substandard. Contact you insurer and the bodyshop and reject it as long as you are being fair and reasonable they have to remedy the poor workmanship.

In your shoes, I would be very fussy and pernickety

Surely filling it with body filler is sub standard ? i thought they would of had to replace with a new panel

Maybe but sometimes you are better off with your original panel pulled and filled than some cheap non original panel with inferior anti-rust protection etc.

they do not have to replace panels, they can fill if deemed more 'cost effective' but as above get back in touch with your insurer and ask them to get repairer to sort.
