    Default Boot storage

I've had two vectra SRIs now, 2.2 direct (yes got stung with 3 ****** fuel pumps n coils packs....fekkin Vauxhall, that was pricey) and now a 150 CDti.

Both cars have a storage box with on the left in the boot with a hazard triangle and first aid logo.... both cars have had nothing in there. Are these always empty or has the previous owner half inched the contents?

The one on the passenger side might of had a first aid kit in when new, the european ones did. I bought a first aid kit in lidl that fits perfectly.
I think the other cubby is just for storage.

Aldi / tesco / adsa for teh first aid kit, its an optional accessory in the "Travel kit" from vauxhall £30 for the kit from vauxhall about £5 for a first aid kit from the above and for another £5 you can get a trianlge as well (thats the bit of storage to the left of the first aid kit space. )

For UK cars they would have been optional extras. As already said very cheap to get from Ebay and Tesco etc...

@chewy71 Because in UK it's not inforced by law to have the safety/travel kit you will have to buy that as an extra. For example, in Romania (back home for me), everything is included as well as a set of bulbs and a fire extinguisher. If you don't have those you cand get a big fine and 3-6 points on your license.

I bit the bullet and bought them from the dealers. Right hand side comes in handy for spare headlight bulbs, injector cleaner bottles and "bags for life" door shopping - stops the torx bit screwdriver for air filter etc rattling about
