Hi
Have to replace my brake pipes, left and right sides, front to rear on 2.2 DTi SRi 2003.
What size pipe and fittings are needed and any tips would be very welcome if someone has done this before.
Thanks
Paul

Have fun doing the nearside rear wheel as the pipe goes over the fuel tank. Oh and have the engine running when bleeding the brakes so as not to damage the abs system
is that the recommended method, engine running? Useful to know as I will hopefully changing my front calipers this weekend and all four hoses are being uprated to Goodridge braided jobbies..
It's the best way i've found to get a good pedal. Just remember you have full servo assistance though so be gentle
Thanks for your replies
I have looked at the pipes today and they look a bit of a ****** so will leave until they fail MOt then get garage to do them.
As for bleeding the brakes, which I will have to do when I do my rear brakes, is the reason the engine is running while bleeding because the vacuum for the servo is fed from a pump which needs the engine to be rotating for it to work correctly, normally the vacuum is fed from the throttle housing isnt it and diesels dont have a throttle as such, or is my understanding ********.
Thanks
Paul
No the reason for it running is so that the ABS pump is active, all the vacuum pump does is run the power assistance, a petrol will only have power assistance if it's running too
I see.................thanks for that John
