    Default CD70 'Reading' Satnav disc

Is it normal for the CD70 to be reading the satnav disc?

Mine does the same. Even if you dont have a route programmed into it, the GPS is active and knows where you are. Put the nav screen up next time you are out and about and it will track your current location and tell you the name/number of the road you are on.

Yep. All as above. Also if you press INFO then NAVI and choose MAP it will show you where you are and track where you are going.
