    Angry Vauxhall Rant

    Goodday,

To all you lovely people of this glorious forum, I have a rant.

Now, finished fixing my clutch with my personal mechanic because vauxhall tried to charge me 900+ to fit a new clutch. Are you kidding me!!!!!!! that's a new banger I said to the girl on the phone!

Now rant, paid 47~ pounds for a diagnostic test on my veccy with vauxhall, results are that there is no fault even though I can clearly see fault symbols on the dashboard. So once again I choose to do this myself, using the accelerator - brake - ignition method. The following codes were discovered:

P1483 - Engine Cooling System Performance
P1613 - Loss of DIM Serial Data
P2138 - Accelerator Pedal Position (APP) Sensor 1-2 Correlation
    P0501 - Vehicle Speed Sensor Range/Performance
P1565 - Cruise Servo Position Sensor
P2108 - Throttle Actuator Control (TAC) Module Performance

I know, seems alot. My issue is if I can find these manually what the .... is vauxhall looking for with their "diagnostic tests"???

Anyone knows how to get rid of the following because apparently the car fine fine, according to the test results?

    Peace and hairgrease! Psykadelik

Will let you know plasma, closer to the day. Thanks for the offer.

Im in Ashford, Middlesex and have a Vaux-Com setup and can look and clear your codes for you this weekend.

I am out servicing 2 cars this Saturday - so if you want to pop over I am happy to have a look for you..

Not sure what distance this is for you - but the offer is there.

    Cheers Anthony
