Default Stopped the car during DPF regen.

    Hi all
I was on my way to work today and the car started a DPF regen but i didn't have time to finish it so i switched the engine off. What do you guys suggest, go and force a regen on the highway or leave it as it is? Dunno if its healthy for the car and also can't say if next time it starts i will have time to finish it. Thanks for any replies.

I've had my auto estate for 5000 miles now and not sure if or when it's ever done one in that time. I'm sure vauxhall would have programmed the ecu for such occurrences. I'd leave it to be honest. If it's not broken....

very funny guys, lmao, now ya scared the begeebers outta him!!!!!! The car should attempt another regen when conditions are right, engine temp and speed etc. Sure take it for a blast down the motorway, if it doesn't do a full regen, there will be some passive regen purely by driving at motorway speeds. When mine starts regen, usually as i get to work, i sit in the car park and hold the revs at 2500 till its done, usually bout ten mins.
