Try autosave on the Clep road mate, pretty sure that they deal with Gates belts which are as good as (if not better quality) than the Gen VX kit

Log on to Eurocarparts.com website, they have the Contitech kits there that are OEM spec for about £180 inc, the pulleys (and waterpump IIRC) for the 1.9 diesel so should have the 1.8 petrol kits too

I only paid £103 for the cdti kit from b'ham euro parts, inc a water pump.

When they're that cheap they could be counterfeit though - counterfeit parts are always flooding into the country, and they're being sold somewhere, might as well be ebay.

Personally, I go to the dealer for these items.

There is a very good How to (written by me) on how to change the belt, rollers, tensioner and water pump in the relevant section on here.

Nice how2 btw Ste. My next door neighbour works for uncle Arnold and he brought a couple of Aluminium keys to lock the cams, he did say he wasnt sure if they would fit or not but not to worry as in the past they have used pieces of wood to lock the cams, I though he was yanking my chain, lol.
