remove dash strip, remove the 4 screws that holds the vents and clock.
Then on the back theres 4 small screws that hold the clock to the vents.
Hi all,
Just seen this in the search.. I have been given the chance to take out the Clock display that the CD30 has standard and replace it with a replacement screen, the part number is -13178765.
Just wanted to check that this is compatible with my CD30? And if it is easy to replace?
Cheers in advance..
Yes it is a Vectra-C / Signum Full CAN Display
EPC4 says
Part Number= 13178765
Catalogue Number = 12 36 727
Description = UNIT, DISPLAY, MULTI-FUNCTION INDICATOR, GRAPHIC INFO - MONOCHROMATIC (IDENT SD)
Chassis Number range = 51000001- (approx 2005 to 2007)
but this will fit all models of CD30.
Fitting is easy, however the tricky bit is the divorcing and pairing up procedures, which can normally be done by your dealer, using his Tech 2 programmer.
Both the displays, and your head-unit will need to be divorced, before the new display can be paired to your head-unit.
Thanks for your reply Robsey. I will run the screen down to my local dealer.. After speaking to him, he said he can do this process for £30.00? Does that sound about right?
Cheers.
£30 is very cheap - most charge nearer to £80 - eek
One thing I do say is ensure that your display connector has
brown wires in both pins 1 and 2
and
red wires in both pins 3 and 5.
if you have only one red and one brown, then you will need to link pin 1 to pin 2 and link pin 3 to pin 5 for the GID to work.
