confused Help Rear caliper gromet removal

    hello

While checking a noise with the rear brakes i decided to change the discs and pads simple.

Well, i have noticed that the rear caliper is seized and needs changing, i have everything removed apart from the handbrake gromet which i cant seem to get off. Haynes seems to think you just pull it off but this hasn't worked.

Anyone who has any advice would be really appreciated.

    many thanks

it is a very tight fit but it does pull out from the caliper. I used a pipe wrench to grip the grommet.

    Hi

I have just done the same thing, ****** haynes manuals!
It is a very tight fit indeed, I used WD40 and a pair stilsons.
I also used a large screwdriver and hammer to try to push the grommets out from the opposite side, this also worked on one side of the car.
