    Default clay bar help needed

    morning im looking to clay the car this morning for the first time i brought the Maguires clay kit but my son has emptied the lube bottle so im now left with 2 clay bars. is there anything else i can use to lube the car ?/?? thanks

    car shampoo in water, Normal ratio mix. refil the bottle with it.
    Now I need a turbo to keep up!

    I used to use the quick detailer sprays. I now use my megs nxt2 shampoo or the hyper wash. Works just as well, if not better imo.
    Now I need a turbo to keep up!

    as above any of the quick detailers work well - its pretty much what they sell with the bars

    i just use water when i do mine, hose in one hand clay in other just dont clay with out the water running onto the spot were your claying. the clay is a ****** to get off if the paint work is not wet enough.

    thanks everyone 4 and a half hours later its been washed & clayed then washed again then dried down then polish and im about to start waxing lol my arm feels like its about to fall off but the results are amazing i cant believe i have never used the clay process before

    It is very supprising how much muck comes off if you clay your motor. Also how smooth the paint feels when you have finished putting the wax on.
