    Vehicle : Vectra

    Trim : SRI

    Engine : 3.0 V6 CDTI

    Year : 2007

    Default

I bought a cheap one a year or so ago, off of flea-bay, works great clears errors as well as reading the code etc, reads several of the protocols etc and I have used this on a Vectra B, Astra and several Vectra C's, one was a 54 plate 1.9 120, one a 57 plate 1.9 120 and my 56 plate V6 CDTI.
Well worth the £20 or so I paid for it.
    Hope that helps

The handheld ones generally only read and reset codes.
The op-com off fleabay will also read and reset codes but will also read other live engine parmeters and program car keys etc.. however the op-software is a very limited 'hacked' version of the original £600 version.
Now if yer clever... you buy the cheap fleabay op-com for the hardware and look on the net for a fully functional pre-activated clone of the £600 version... its definately out there on the net... and the difference between this and the fleabay software is like chalk and cheese
