Do you mean just light up or to actually activate the systems?

Also, the sports system would use all sorts of sensors that adjust all sorts of things, would be amazing if it did work though. With VX, I guess you never know!

It requires different shock absorbers, mapping for the ECU for accelerator response and also for power steering to sharpen that up. Its not really a retro fit set of systems mate.

Requires IDS2 (Interactive Damping option) - won't work without it. As Sean says not really a retrofit option.

I fit the traction button and it worked straight away.

When I fit the sport button it lit up with the rest of the dash lights. Tried to tech2 it in by telling the BCM it had it fitted. After doing that, the little light that says it's on comes on for a few seconds when the button is pressed, then goes off

Pretty certain that, unlike the Astra, you MUST have the IDS fitted for the button to do anything at all.

If I can find a cheap IDS module am going to try and wire it in on its own, just to see if the light then stays on and the throttle response changes. Might retrofit the whole IDS kit if I can get the bits for a reasonable price, should be a fairly simple job to do over a day (I've got the necessary diagnostic kit).
