Default i saved the life of a life gaurd:)

went on holiday for a week on a haven sight down wales and well my daughter was on private lesson on scuba diving and speedboats on the haven sight, and the life gaurd who was teaching them was on his own in the swimming pool which i thought was wrong, but anyway the kids was swimming round these bends in the pool when all of a sudden i notice the life gaurd in the water upside down sort of having a fit like moving hands weirdly, anyway i could not goin straight away as i might of embarrassed myself, but soon as i saw his glasses fall of he slowly sank to the bottom of the pool and landed on is back as grey as hell, that was it time was up for waiting so i dived over the balcony and landed in pool right next to him and dragged him to safety, then as i was doing this my mrs ran to office for life gaurds to come hel,by that time i had him out of pool on side and i let the other life gaurds then take over bring him round, and ambulance came took him away, and he came back all well the day after,i think a few more seconds wait would of took a life, and the lady boss came to me saying if i would of waited any longer it would of been sad news, god do i feel proud of myself saving a 22 year old guy in front of my 2 children, and my mrs,my kids keep saying im a hero lol, weird feeling knowing what i done and what a great feeling it is

lol also soaked my car keys in pool and £300 in my pocket but both dried out fine, ive also took a lovelly bottle of wine from dan the lifegaurd who i saved, but this will be saved for as long as i live

the life gaurds love me now lol

well done fella - top man

do they know the reason why he took a "turn" for the worse?

should he really be a lifeguard if he can fall ill ??

some fairly serious questions that Haven should be asking - before the Death (I'm not saying staff are cannon fodder)of a member of Public and there sued.

how many other people were there and could have done the same or knew what to do !!

    again Kudos

they dont no what made him take this turn but hes of to hospital this week for full checks, and nothing like this has happened to him before,i put it down to probally tiredness and drink and not eating well and working to much i think,in the pool that day was my little girl swimming me and my mrs and a little girl and a pregnant lady who was on other side behind the wall and couldent see him,i think now this will change the rules of haven,as the manager said, its most likely going to change a hell of alot,as it could of been fatal if i was not there, all i can hope for is he pulls out ok and all well with him,as would hate to see him loose his job,at the moment haven have stopped him from swimming and doing lessons while hes been checked and cleared,im sure ill here in the future of what happens to him,if not im back there next year and will find out,my little girl was so close to seeing a death which would of really shocked her big time and would of scared her rotten, thank god all ended well, and this was what life gaurd asked 1st,is my daughter ok and how much did she see, when i dragged him out of pool i went back in got my girl and other little girl out of pool and out of reach and eyes of lifegaurd,i got to say i really thought he was a goner,he looked that bad, that day has opened the eyes of all those at swimming pool especially those life gaurds
