    Default Locking nuts Query

    Hello East Members

Can anyone suggest a good garage in the east london/essex area to get my locking nuts removed.

My key has snapped and the dealers said that they canít get a replacement (I donít have the code, wasnít in the box with the keys when I got the car).
Dealers said that it would cost £45 per wheel to get them off.

I said "WHAT EVER" and walked straight out of there!

Can anyone recommend a garage near the IG1 area thatís are reliable and CHEAP!?

    Thanks

    Do you have AA cover??

Drive round the corner, find you have a 'flat tyre'

Give them a ring as your locking nut key has snapped and they will come out and use the Dynomec nut remover, if you ask nicely they will do all 4 for you as the key is broken

Cheapest AA cover is £28 iirc so you are quids in

We use these at the garage I work at: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Locking-Wheel-...item35ab5dbe39

It has a reverse thread that bites into the wheel nut and removes them.
