Iphone 4 issues...

Missus has got one, she's tried sorting it herself and the registration failed...

Now the pc wont recognise the phone, and the screen just keeps showing the connect to USB. usb is conntecting but nothings happening...

Restarted PC, re-downloaded itunes and still same. anyone any ideas....

hold down the on/off button at the same time as the round button. This will do a full reboot of the iphone. This tends to clear lost of problems. Hopefully it might resolve yours.

Done that a few times... No look, get the apple logo and it reboots. still comes up with the connect to PC...

PC beeping away as it recognises the USB. but its not recognising its an iphone and itunes cant find it either...

She doing my head it too moody ***** as if this is my fault. women... Its going against the wall soon lol.........

Have you tried opening itunes and then plugging in the phone and turning it on whilst plugged in?

Yeah done that Sig... i already had itunes too and thats the way she did it 1st time. but the the software update downloaded for 15 mins, then failed... its been like this since........

my missus one did this when she did a complete reset by accident. In the end a combination of itunes running/not running and turning the phone on eventually got it to connect ok.

I'll keep messing, for half hour at most then i'm watching TV again. what a bag of ****e...

It should just connect like my ipod and shuffle or send it out already activated with standard software. Not like a stolen phone is usefull!!

have you tried updating itunes software on pc. restared pc.

Right, unplugged iphone, rebooted it. connected it then ran itunes and on the 9th attempt it found it...

It went into restore mode and then said error 1604...

All google can find is to use a different USB, different PC, or download Itunes again... Ball ache.....

I'm getting a HTC when mine up for renewel
