Default 1.9 CDTi 150 Throttle Body Location

    Hi,

I am looking to follow the "How2" for cleaning my throttle body out but I am unsure as to it's location.

If possible, could someone please create a post on here containing a picture of the engine bay of a 1.9 CDTi 150 and highilght the throttle body for me?

    It would be much appreciated.

    Thanks.

Right hand side of engine, follow large bore turbo pipe up to engine and where the pipe meets the engine, thats the throttle body.

I followed the turbo pipe up and found where you have described, however, when the car was up to running temperature, the turbo pipe was soft enough to squeeze to the point where both sides if the inside could easily touch each other.

Is this normal for the turbo pipe to be so soft when the car is warm?

All other hoses cannot be squeezed in the same way and seem to be made of stronger material.

    Yip its normal.

Those hoses would look better when made of blue/red/yellow silicone made by Samco if they made them as they are more structurally integral but, the softness now isn't an issue
