Half way through a tank full, not noticed any problems.Musta missed that one. Only remember the Tesco petrol one.Formula Shell fiasco
I've heard about shell's problems a few years ago with their new formula of fuel however they can't really afford to make that same mistake again.
I am sure they will have explored every avenue this time, the tesco problem, that was just a **** up and nothing to do with new formulas
I've been using it not noticed any difference in performance or consumption for that matter
I'm on my 4th tank full, i haven't noticed any difference tbh...
Very big problem worldwide, Shell had to forkout millions

I have been using it since it came out, and to be honest didn't notice any difference on the Insignia, but the MPG on our Freelander 2 does seem to have improved a little. But that link for sure is interesting reading. I am sure Shell have looked into this, but surely all these 'issues' can't be coincidence.

I've seen the advert too. But, to me it is about COST of mileage, and not just mpg.
As it is more expensive to buy than Asda, then I would be worse off, even if I did 'save up to a litre a tank' - wow a whole litre? And it costs me 3 quid more a tankful, and several mile drive. A bit pointless for me with Asad being just round the corner from me.
Each to their own, but I'll stick with Asda petrol thanks.
Our nearest fuel station is a shell garage & the cost difference between them & the next nearest (morrisons) is about 2p a litre, i use shell for the convenience.
I have used shell religiously for a while now few years I would say.
I have used both the Derv and the UL and have always used the standard stuff due to excessive miles pa in previous jobs.
Now I am only doing 6-8k pa so on this will be looking to switch to one of the premium fuels.
Thing is I have Shell, BP and Tesco next to me and I am unsure as to which one to use now.
I was loyal to shell as I had their mastercard and paid for the fuel and got 3% per ltr off and then had the points on my clubcard. This has now disappeared (current climate) and I think I get 0.25% if that now. Plus I get naff all from the shell clubcard as I only use about £100 per month fuel.
Any ideas which to try first as I am going to fill up in next few days.
