    Default 2004 150bhp 1.9cdti flywheel question

not sure if this has been asked before but i have a 2004 vectra cdti its the 150bhp version, it makes a noise when idling (knocking noise) and when clutch is slightly pressed, i believe this to be a problem with the dual mass flywheel, i'm wondering as there is no other problems cluch etc works fine, can the flywheel be changed without the clutch aswell? does anyone know a good place to get one from?. cheers in advance. Joe

It can be changed on its but its false economy.

The tame t takes to strip it all down you may as well add a clutch in the price so you know its not got to come back apart again in the near future.

the clutch has to be removed to replace the flywheel, the best place to get one from is euro car parts its where i got mine from, still expensive though, ring ces first or another parts place and phone euro back n get a price match they always beat prices from anywhere else!

Not a bad price (£394.14 Inc Vat) for flywheel, clutch and release bearing.
