    Default 2.0T Reliability ?

    Hey Guys,

Its been a while. I'm looking at a 2006 Vectra Sri 2.0t Sat Nav Model with XP kit. Its had 1 owner from new, has full vauxhall history and 12months MOT.

Its done just over 60k just wondered what the reliability was like with these?

My friend said he heard something about the gear boxes in them not being up to much.

    Cheers

    Matt

probably the most reliable engine in the range. They offer great performance with good fuel economy, as long as its been regularly serviced as you say it has you should be fine. No real probs with gear box apart from they can be a little clunky, and with a remap you'll be laughing.

great engines, very good gearboxes... as stated above probably the most reliable engine you can get in a vectra C/Signum.. I am more than happy with mine and when i get round to buying my wife a newer car it will be with this engine as well.
My old Signum, the animal; she now rests in pieces in several other members cars.. https://www.vectra-c.com/forum/garag...vehicle&id=200

And even that clunkiness in the gearbox can be fixed in 15 minutes:
