My dad was chatting away today and got to telling me he nearly bought a car as a cheap runaround. his work got it as a guy they know is moving abroad. mint saab 2.5 v6 L reg with 6 months tax and 11 months mot £150. think its a 9-5 .

I could have had some fun in that saved the veccys miles

Don't go telling me that!!!!!! SUCH a bargain!! Would love to get my hands on a Saab again - had one donkeys years ago when the kids were little and had loads of fun in it - it was virtually indestructible!!!

he runs an r reg diesel mondeo too. 35 years in the motor trade have nulled his interest in cars (well apart from when he 'borrows' mine

) so it would have been good for him not to be driving what sounds like a challenger tank

told him to get on the case and see if its still available
