Its an XP not a limited addition, and its had a 888 map nothing more, so have many owners. It is a nice looking car though. I'm sure 200bhp is stretching the truth as well as from memory the actual T8's never managed the 200................Still faster than mine though

200bhp is a struggle from simply a remap/box, plus a single standard exhaust would struggle to handle that using the current bore exhaust

think it is just, as rushy said, stretching the truth

200bhp+ is new exhaust, injector upgrade, fuel pump upgrade, turbo upgrade, methonal injection, nitrous, list goes on.......... i'm sure diesel dog will be along soon to comment too

Sorry mate, but that's tripe! Most tuning boxes will put a 1.9 150 around the low 190's to early 200's range - with no extra mods required!

Your missing my point about the official 888 cars though, the T8 Astra was put out with numbers of 200bhp, but as said these numbers were very very hard to prove. Not saying it wasn't a good map however, as peak BHP is nothing. I believe the VXR Vectra map only puts it at 300bhp peak so 20 ish above stock but there's and increase of 100 bhp in other areas of the graph and that's what makes all the difference.

Because none of the tuning companies managed to break the 200bhp mark on the 1.9 CDTi with just a re-map.

The VXR performance centre used EDS software, and this was proven to be more like 185bhp to 190bhp at a push.

We are not talking about box's here. We are talking about re-maps so what you have put is effectively tripe
