    confused help needed......

    hi i have a 2l turbo and i have just installed a BAILEY DV36 dump valve i also got the blanking plate from forge so everything is installed but wen i took it for a test run it feels like its lost power and if i put my foot down and push it. it goes into limp mode with the engine managing light coming on anyone got any ideas i would be really grateful thanx

    Have u taken the vac pipe from the correct place Eg where the old dump was standard the pipe that went on to it that is the pipe u need for new dump vac pipe if not this is ur problem

    O also has that dump valve you have got a double piston/springs if not that is why aswell due to the car havin a air sensor a single piston/spring will not work properly You will also need to get the light taken off

    hi this is one for with air sensor and i have joined vac pipe up with that pipe but i took away the metal pipe and joined the hose straight to the sensor at the front of engine were that vac pipe goes also wen i put the blanking plate on i left out the spring and circle plastic bit out is that right

    Yes that's all fine it maybe that where the pipe goes there is a sensor on that part check u haven't made anything lose etc around that i taped mine the once an had similar problem disconnect it ( sensor) clean conectors and put back on see if that works I bet it's that then as that's what I did not had a problem since touch wood let me no how u get on

    U know when ur in limp mode is it only 1st 2nd & 3rd u lose power an then comes back in 4th also after tuning it off for a bit u have power back if so deffo that sensor

    dont no about gears but i turn it off and back on and then its ok again but i took sensor plug off clean and back on and seems to be ok now so many thanx to ya mate
