    Default GSI road tax?

Hi all, after a few years of driving a bus(people carrier),i can now start look at normal cars again.
I am thinking of a vectra C gsi as i like the lazy nature of the big V6 engined cars.I know they arnt great on fuel, but i only do 7-8000miles per year, and insurance aint too bad at 41.The thing that bother's me is whether GSI is going to be put into the £425 per year road tax band in 2011 due to its co2 output.
Has anyone with the 3.2 engine heard anything about this one way or another?

    Thanks,Lee.

If I am correct it will depend on the age of the car. Mine is a 04 reg and as it was rergistered before april 2006 I will not be paying the £425 or whatever the 242co. If however if the car was registerd after April 2006. I would have to pay the £425 or whatever.

I'm pretty sure that any car registered before December 2005 will be in the lower tax band.
I taxed my GSi last month and it was £135 for 6 months or £245 for 12 months.

March the 6th 2006 is THE date for the £425 tax band. I doubt you would find an 06 plate GSi so its £245 a year
Now I need a turbo to keep up!
