    Default Replacement Seats - Airbags

Just a quick question.. I am sourcing a set of leather seats for my Vec C SRI. Read all the how2's etc so pretty happy with all that.

When i find a new set, whats the score with airbags? Do you just leave the ones in the new seats intact and have them Tech2'd into the car?

Remove the original ones and put in the new seats?

Cool.. That makes life easy. Thought if you unplugged the seats the Airbag light would stay on the dash until cleared?

before you change the seats just disconnect the battery 20 mins before hand and you will not get any warnings

I asked pretty much the same thing a while back Aidi, my concern was chances are i'll get mine form a scrappy and no doubt it would be open to the elements. Apparently its only 2 nuts to remove your own from the seats.

Magic! I had read about disconnecting the -ve to discharge the bags, bonus that it stops the airbag light staying illuminated.

Many thanks for the clarification mate.
