    Default vectra c chrome list under windows - how to tidy

    Hello.

    i do not know what is it called on English. but i'll give it a go..

    the chrome lists along the side windows of the vectra c look like ****. (not chrome effect) how to get these blank an shiny again ?

    anyone know what to use on these chome lists ?

    These chrome strips are covered with plastic, I'm afraid only solution is replacement. Topic has been covered many times.

    got mine sorted using t-cut then super resin polish, look as good as new now.

    i tried the baby oil technique that many on detailing world suggest, that didnt work, i tried metal polish, i tried normal polish, i tried white diamond, i tried brasso, in the end

    poorboys trim restore is what i used, wiped it on and left it (dont buff off) that appeared to work but not forever, ill try the tcut + resin polish idea aswell at some point.
