    Default Lowering Spring for 1.9CDTI

Can anyone point me in the right direction for lowering springs for a 54 Reg, Vectra C 1.9cdti. Have had no problems findning them for the petrol versions, are they the same?

I want the car to sit about the same level at an SRI.

    Thanks,

    James

Springs are the same for boths engine types. You need to know the weight of each axle. This is on the vin plate on the b pillar just inside the drivers door. Once you have these you need to google eibach springs which will lower your car 30mm which will be the same as an SRI. I personally would go any lower but several have. If you go lower you will need to replace the shocks but -30mm and the standard shocks are fine.

Just looked on the vin plate and the only two weights I can see says: 2025 and 3525

But when looking at the springs it has axle weights listed as: 1135 and 1035

    Im confused

Ok turns out I wasnt reading the vin plate properly. My axle weights are 1070 and 980 kgs. When looking at the springs for my model it says weights up to 1035 and 1135 kgs. Do the axle weights on the springs you buy have to match up or is it a maximum figure?
