Default Difference between Sri and elite veccy

Some of you may gave read my accident thread but if not

I have a 06 plate elite which is off the road my loaner is a 58 plate Sri

Now obviously it's down on spec but that's not the issue

The Sri seems so much better in the bends and seems so much more planted

Is it just springs and shocks or is there
More differences is stiffer arbs etc?

suspension is a big difference, I changed from SRi estate to Elite estate and probably my age, but I love the softness of the Elite (and all the extra kit!)

Suspension is the only difference in terms of ride, it's easier to make an elite handle better, than turn an sri into an elite

i own a elite and i have driven a few sri vecs to and there isnt a big diff in handling imho its down to knowing the limits of the car your in as not every car is the same depends on how hard a life its had by its drivers look see how many elites are for sale then see how many sri s there is if you think your elite is a bit iffy change the springs and shocks and check out the bushes bud i think only time you may see a diff in the 2 is wen there near or on there driving limits at the end of the day its down to trim options imho

Driving them back to back the elite wallows more going into the bends whereas the Sri feels more surefooted

Sri - sports model without all the toys

Elite - cruiser with every toy

Not surprised the sri feels a bit more surefooted

yep agree my elite was a bit soft on cornering so changed springs sorted now
and the front seat took a bit of getting used to as well as again i think the sri seat is far superior
