centre console

can somebody tell me if theres meant to be a lighter in the centre console @ rear or is that just for plugging stuff in ?

anyone got a pic of this bit ?

From what I understand is that the cigarette lighter was an optional extra (called smokers pack) and are a different size to the ordinary sockets which are just ment to power the likes of phone chargers and satnavs etc.

My vec has ashtrays front and back and the cigarette lighter socket in the front but an accessory socket in the back thats too small for the cigarette lighter. I dont think lighter sockets were fitted it the rear.

Mine didnt have one in the front but under the cover next to the ash tray the hole is there for one as well as the cables so i just put one in and just put the cover over it when im not using it.

No just a 12v accessory socket in the rear and the front one was as mentioned part of the smoker pack

accessory socket,so tyre inflaters/sat nav n the likes fit in it ok john ?

just with it being diff size from front fitting

Yeah thats what it's for mate, main idea was likely for kids to play PSP's and DS's using the 12v chargers
