Hi all, I am on my first Vauxhall diesel (auto) 58-reg vectra 150 CDTi. Currently 22K miles. I am well impressed with this car, performance and economy. I have seen a few posts on earlier auto models where the gearbox oil gets contaminated with engine coolant. Resulting if a gearbox change. Also other engine issues. Does anyone know if these have been rectified on newer models. My thinking was the end of a model run is a good time to buy, as potential faults should have been ironed out. I currently have 12 months network Q warranty till March 2011. Then the remaining manufactures warranty till December 2011. All my previous Astra's and Vectra (petrols) have be very reliable and done high mileage. Some feed back please.:
