They car wear out on inner and outer edges. The car can be very twitchy in a straight line or pull to one side.

Nah none of that, jus been reading few threads on tracking after had lowering springs fitted, and i only paid £80 for the fitting of my 35mm apex springs, so was worried coz it was cheap price they might not have done tracking! But i dont having any pulling to one side issues so they must have done everything right, fitted over 6 month now and not noticed owt anyway. Although my 2 front tyres was slightly bald on the inside before i changed em, cud this be it or wud the pulling have to go with it as a symptom or is pulling not always a symptom? If ya know wot i mean

Car dances all over the road when going over rough/bumpy roads.

Its the camber that will need looking at if anything.

Tracking if wrong scrubs the tyre laterally making the tread feel sharp, in most cases you don't notice it's wrong unless it's violently wrong, in addition it cannot make the car pull.

Camber is the vertical lean of the wheel, if wrong the wear is confined to one edge and smooth, incorrect camber can make the car pull.

Which type of wear are you seeing? You don't mention whether it is front, rear, nearside or offside

Front tyres typically wear on the outside edges, usually more on the nearside than offside
This is a sign the vehicles spends more time at low speed corners, typically roundabouts

Rear tyres (on the Vectra C) typically wear evenly on the inside edges (both sides)
This is due to the camber settings at manufacture
The tyre manufacturers now simply report that as a charateristic of the vehicle
Once the camber has been reset the issue disappears
