    Default TV Ariel

After a bit of advise. I need to split a TV arial on the outside of a house and put the lead to 2 different rooms. There is no power externally so a powered splitter isn't ideal so does anyone have any ideas of the best way to do this other than running 2 leads from the arial itself.

Go to Maplins,(or similar electronics/electrical store)and ask them for an external coax aerial splitter box.Shouldn't be more than a few quid and will take a very short time to fit it.Cut your existing cable and run the extra cable plus the existing cable from it.If you need extra coax cable they will be able to sort that out for you as well.FELIXX.

Yeah man, If you're in a streong signal area you might just get away with a passive splitter. It's worth a try. If it doesn't work try using 2 seperate single signal boosters in each room where there is power

Or a mast head amp, basically a weather proof amp, power is fed up one of the coax feeds.
