Angry Think my amp has blown

After searching a couple of things on the internet i think that my amp has blown. Im not sure but i think it has.
When i turn the ignition wire on in my car the amp power lights up, and then goes off about 3 seconds later. It is still powering my subs and 6x9s but they dont seem as powerfull as before.
Could anybody either tell me that it is not blown which i hope. Or send me in the right direction for a good cheapish amp. I need a 4 channel amp. i run 2 1200watt subs and a pair of 1000watt 6x9s.

    Any help would be great.

another reason i think it could be blown is when installing the amp sombody put the power cable in the ground on the amp and the earth in the power. It did not make a noise asif it has blown but it just does not seem as powerfull with my subwoofers any more.

    Thanks

That advert gives no indication of power output. A 0.5w RMS amp can be 100w max when measured in certain ways. Unless you know the RMS value do not buy. There is no way of telling if the amp is cheap or not because for all we know it could be 6w rms per channel and then its expensive!!!
