    Default Rear air vents

Hey all, the mother-in-law's bought an '06 Exclusiv - doesn't have rear vents, only a pretty useless pocket. Now I happen to have a centre arm rest complete with the vents kicking about.

My question is how do I strip the unit down, and would there be any ducting in the centre column to direct the air, or did Vauxhall cut costs there too??

    Si

    you'll be lucky..

I added everything up to the airbox..arm rest, ducting.. and it still doesn't work.

I think the actual air box (whatever it's called) behind the dash is different.

And apparently its a dash out job to replace the whole unit to allow air flow to the rear vents. I wouldn't bother with the trunking to the front of the dashboard as you have to take the whole of the centre console out to get it in for absolutely no gain.
