    Exclamation Steamed up Front Window

    Hi All

Got into the car the other evening from the cinema, set off out of the car park and the window starts to mist up.
Pressed the Aircon Button and the front window blower button and suddenly the whole thing went completely misted up.
Back window was completely misted over as well
As I was front row of the traffic lights I had to try and pull over and sit and wait for the whole thing to demist a bit scary trying to drive round the middle of Middlesbrough with a fully misted window, I tried to wipe it with my hands but that just smeared.

It took a while to demist – but has anyone else’s done this, my Astra G used to do the same as well.
Pollen filter was changed last service about 4 months ago, and as far as I’m aware no damp in the car.

    Many Thanks

sounds stupid but my rubber floor mats were causing windows to mist due to water sitting on them and changed to carpet much better also never leave the blower in the screen position when not running. just me but also never turn the a/c off

    Thanks
Once demisted the car never steams up, I have fabric mats, and I have the blowers set to feet/window and Aircon on and it never steams up when if its raining, its just sometimes when getting into the car after its been stood, it will mist up slightly, but the blowers on then it makes it worse and you have to sit and wait for it to clear which takes a while even with air con on and the front window button selected

Change your pollen filter, or remove it altogether. Common occurrance on Vauxhalls I'm afraid.
