Just bought my first Vec C

Hi guys, just picked up my first Vec C. 1.8i Breeze on a 05 plate and loving it so far. Got a nice low mileage example, but after flicking through some threads about cars being clocked im starting to think it may be too good to be true.

Its showing just over 17000 miles, interior is mint...no bolster dam, gear gater mint, no pedal wear etc. Hpi was clean and two preivous MOTs tally up with the mileage but no service history or wallet with manual, car pass etc. Dealer said it wasnt with the car when he got it.

What do you think? Stop flapping over nothing or worth popping into Vx dealer and hooking up to tech2 for an ecu mileage check? If so any idea how much they charge?

If you HPI'd it and you have mot's to prove it I wouldn't worry too much about it

Why should it. there are much older cars with much less and newer ones with much more.

Yeah, i guess your right. was just abit worried bout the missing service history and car pass. I've read you can get the passes from Vx but any ideas if you need the V5...waiting for it to come back from DVLA.

You may never need the car pass but I doubt you would need the V5, best thing is ring a vx garage and ask. I would have thought all they need is the vin number unless its a security thing.
