    Default wheres my MAF sensor?

    as above, ive not idea where it is and, having cleaned the EGR and boost sensor, its my last idea?!?!

    Just after the air box, the tube that leads down to the turbo has a cylinderical device with a single electrical plug on it, jubilee clip either side.

    Thats the MAF, be very careful what you clean it with, something that leaves no residue is best i.e. ISO Propayl Alcohol

    not wd40 then?! is it likely to be crudded up? also, if i disconnect it, will i be able to test if this was causing the issue or not?

    Electronic cleaner ( from Maplins) might be better than WD 40.

    just took maf sensor off, doesnt look dirty or grimed up or anything?

    Others have said before that if you go for a drive with it disconnected and there is no difference then it may well be shot. As the sensors inside are small and delicate its hard to notice any contaminants on them, as said above use electrical contact cleaner or maybe carb cleaner.
