has anyone got a good close up pic of a facelift vec or sig showing the headlights (where they meet the wing/bonnet)

I know its a long shot. Your help is greatly appreciated

I'm having annoying alignment problems

Well even though mine is the facelift, it doesn't look as if the panels fit properly. I'm having trouble with the edges of the bumper meeting at the top along the bottom of the headlight...quite a big gap there which is really annoying. Will have a look when my bumper next comes off. Hope you get ur's sorted mate, wasn't looking bad at all in the pics you posted up.

I'm also having problems with the rear of the bonnet sitting about 1mm too low.

A tip for you mate is to get some window fitters packers. It helps a lot to keep an even shut line and keeps tghem constant.
Its a 2 man job as well really as you will strugle on your own. But keep plugging, You will get there eventually.
And take the bonnet lock off when your aligning it as it makes the job a lot easyer.

i was going to take the lock off but i thought i would loose the nut. I have got the bonnet sitting as centre as i can but i'm puzzled why it sits about 1mm low at the rear.

Do the facelifts have extra bump stops on the wings?
