aryt guys

need to remove my front seats as i wanna give the carpet a right good scrub,as its got a fur coat on it under the seats lol

i had a quick gander and seen wires running along the subframes i think are called

anything i need to watch for when removing seats ?

will my seats be heated ?

iirc you need to disconnect the battery before disconnecting the plug under the seat, then undo the 2 torx screws at the back of the rails and push seat forward, should just come out then.

Yes. but make sure you leave the car disconnected for an hour before you start work to let airbags discharge.

No your car will not have heated seats

How many buttons on the steering wheel?

6 buttons, and it will need a security code as the car is halfcanbus.

4 buttons and 2 scroll wheels, then it won't need a code as the car is full canbus networked. Basically the stereo is coded to the car and will only work in that car unless it is divorced by Tech2 before working in another car. And even then it needs tech2'ing into the replacement car before it will work again.

this mean i wont need a code ?
