Did Vauxhall stop offering this colour or have they forgotten to update their configurator?
Speaking of which, Vauxhall's configurator is very, very slow and you don't even get to see a shot of the interior.

Pomegranate has been dropped for the MY2011.
Insignia MY2011:
additional changes include:
■New two-coat pearlescent paint extra-cost option added: Mahogany
■Single visible exhaust pipe deleted from 1.8-litre petrol and 2.0-litre diesel engines on SE, Elite and SRi trims (exceptions are when a SRi Vx-Line or VXR Styling Pack is ordered with these engines – single visible exhaust will then remain. This was Scheduled for MY10 and was left in place for 12 months
■Subtle change to the 19-inch alloy wheel option for Elite model (and SE Plus Pack) to give a more dynamic visual appeal
■Active-safety head restraints on ES models replaced by passive head restraints
■Myth Green and Pomegranate Red paint options no longer available
paperplate an optional extra to save some embarrassment
I saw a pomegranite insignia supertourer /should just call them estate, s really on thursday on the M6 near birmingham , i must say i did not think the colour suited the car at all
Driving vauxhall,s for 30 + years
and still loving it
I once saw a pomegranate Elite Nav saloon 4x4 auto with 19-inch wheels and beige leather. Looked very regal IMO.
No active head restraints on ES (base) model? Maybe ES drivers are less likely to get rear-ended. Does that not affect EURO-NCAP rating? They'll be removing curtain airbags next. So much for highest levels of safety.
Nope as the car tested sure as hell wasn't the base model.
The Insignia scored very highly in the NCAP ratings. One of the items it scored poorly on was the lack of a clear indication that the front passenger airbag was deactivated. That goes some way to explain why there is bright yellow light permanently on, on the dashboard for later models.
The, "New" Meriva base model does not have:
- Front seat side impact airbags.
- Full size curtain airbags.
- Active front head restraints.
All are standard on the model two up the range.
