Default Bury 9060 car kit help required

Hopefully someone can explain to me what I need to do. I have the CD70 Navi and brought the bury cc9060 car kit along with the sot-122s cable to allow my steering wheel controls to still work. Trying to save money so I thought I try and tackle this with the forums’s help

I been reading the threads in the ‘how to’ regarding connecting car kits but still not too sure what I need to do in regards to wiring. Hopefully someone can shed some light J

    Questions I have are,

The Bury connector has mute 1, 2 and 3 cables and which one do I use to connect? I have read some threads which mentions pin 11 is the mute on the car stereo, so do I just trace the cable and see which mute cable goes to pin 11? The sticker on the stereo is as follows but it doesn’t mention mute anywhere I can see.

Don’t understand when I’ve read threads mentioning about re-wiring to cigarette lighter for power, live feeds etc I thought my the sot cable I brought would do this for me. Then looking at the bury installation manual it mentions power source so can someone be kind to explain to me? Also there is a mention the two’Phone-In’ cables which needs to be connected. Where do they connect on the stereo?

If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated. I haven managed to connect the sot cable and the bury cables together, but I’m assuming I still need to get the extra bits mentioned above configured so I don’t blow the stereo or bury kit. There are also extra loose cable not marked but hanging of the connectors which I don’t know if I need to use.

I was thinking of getting this kit, i have the Bury 9060 Portable unit which naturally does not mute radio or navigation so will be watching with interest.
I fitted Parrot 3200LS into the wife's 53 plate Signum without any problems but wary about fitting anything into my 57 plate Vectra estate.

Right i've managed to find out that the the loose cables from the SOT-122s is ignition and the other is Illumination.

I know that the ignition goes to the cigarette lighter but what is illumination for? And where do i connect it to?

Can someone please help as i think i've nearly cracked the wiring now and just need to know where the illuminiation needs to go?

With the SOT-122 lead you will have QUAD lock connections for the big plug that connects to the head unit,

The other end of this lead will plug in to the ISO lead of the THB kit, from memory Pin two is the mute,

You don't really need the light cable , but guess this will got to the light switch feed to change the display colour at night,

You will also have a Blue single cable on the SOT lead, this goes to the Live Igntion feed, your best bet is to take it from the large black cable in the Loom from the left handside behind the glove box.

other than that it should all be Plug and Play,

    Hope it helps,

The cable i have is the SOT-122s lead which apparently allows the controls on the steering wheel. So this could be why my lead for the ignition live is a differenet colour (red)? Also i have a total of 2 loose ignition cables - 1 for the end which connects to the radio part of the bury and 1 for the power/speaker from the bury. I have read about connecting the ignition to the 12v accessory socket, but will look at the large black cable in the loom you have described. By any chance do you have a photo of this to make my life easier? I'm assuming that no-matter where i connect it i need to use a in line fuse of 3A?
