Default How does this renewal sound to you guys?

Need some advice and opinions if possible. Just had my insurance renewal through, and surprise surprise it's gone up again. Basically for my 2006 1.8 vvti sri, the quote is £896.70 (£986.37 if I pay over 12 monthly installments which I do). Does this price sound okay? I'm 27, had no claims, no convictions, up to 10,000 miles, fully comp etc, just annoyed that it seems to be going up so much the past couple of years. I'm with natwest car insurance, but am going to shop round for a few quotes. Just seeing what it's like for other people and wether I'm getting a good deal or not. Cheers!

8 years ncb. Just got a quote with co-op insurance, and they've quoted me £150.00 less....might be worth changing I think

Yep, try adrian flux, Chris Knott etc.

Have started a new policy with the co-op, About £180.00 less than I was paying with natwest, and you get more more your money with them too. Very polite and efficient service, will give them a go and see what's what

I just renewed my 150 1.9cdti, It's just 3 years old, It was £255 last year, I've got 19 years NCB though, that was through swiftcover, It had gone up, but I got an online quote and it came out cheaper than renewing my policy I do the same most years and its cheaper to take out a new policy rather than just renew..

Thinking about it, It was only £280 fully comp when I collected it new from the dealers, and it was insured for the £25k it should have cost with all the extras

I just did that with my old company to see what they'd quote me for the vehicle I'm already covered with, and the premium was more than my renewal so that's that out the window lol.

No I didn't try them, and as I've already signed up with my new policy I'm not going to change, but I'll see what happens over the next year and may very well challenge them to quote me happy
