    Default Air con problem

    noticed that my air con wasnt working this morning so took it where i had it regased at the begining of the summer and they showed me a tiny pin ***** of a hole in the condensor
    can that be repaired or is a replacement needed
    been scoping around on the net and the prices for condensors are all over the place!!
    and the stealers wanna rape me for one!!!
    so guys any info on this id be grateful

    Seems cheaper than Vx.. but still £100++

    as for a repair.. I have heard of people using a strong epoxy glue on them, but as to whether it holds I dont know... High preasure in these so not sure you would want to risk anything, but not 100% on repair..

    ...also mate - I hate to add to it, but if you open the system to change the condensor - you really should change the dryer also....

    Had the same problem with my car...had been regassed twice in a week... in the end i had it changed under extra warranty but I still had to pay about 140 pounds..
