Default Good idea but not the best

Hi all, my new vectra came fitted with some parking sensors, there are only 2 and they are moulded into the number plate holder. They work ok but because they are so high (estate) I risk backing into low walls. After reading some threads im going to fit another kit of 4 sensors in the lower part of the bumper. Should I remove the 2 sensor kit or link them up to the new kit and having 6 sensors, 4 low and 2 high?

I would remove the other sensors. The plugs may be different on the existing kit, but it's up to you.

I would leave the old sensors in place just disconect them and fit a whole new set up ..would save you have to fill the holes

Fit a new 4 sensor system and sell the number plate holder kit.

If you take the bumper off all the markings for where to drill are on the inside mate. You could put the 2 sensors on the front wired up to a little switch.

This is the best idea. You could also get a timed relay so they're active for 20 seconds or so after taking it out of reverse.
