Now that we can't take lap tops, bottles of whatever, bags etc onto the planes, will they up the weight limit or will they use this to hammer additional charges?

Ryanair weren't charging yesterday for hand luggage that went into the hold.
I really wouldn't fancy the chances of any laptop that went into the hold, unless it was in a armored flight case! I've seen how hold luggage gets treated.......
