Default 05 Vectra CDTi - Fan problem (not resistor!)

Hi there, been searching this forum and found loads of fan speed problems all linked to the resistor.

Ok, same problem, only works on speed 4.

Resistor tested and it's ok. Just incase, it was replaced, still no success. Tried changing the dash control panel, still no success!!

    Any idea's?

Thought about that, but not sure.

The fact it works on high speed tells me (maybe wrongly) the motor is fine...all the resistor does is reduce the voltage hence the lower speed??

    Will check it out though.

    Thanks again

Maybe a lower current supplied isn't enough to turn it? Although i would have thought it would take the fuse out. As you have changed the obvious its time to look at everything else.
